My Mission to See Typefighter
I wrote a little bit in the past few days about my mission to see the band, Typefighter. For those of you who know anything about my musical taste folk punk is totally in my wheelhouse. I love most of those Plan-It-X bands and tend to be attracted to anything remotely similar to that.
Typefighter fits into the mold of everything I like in a band. I have heard the recordings found on their website. The songs Worth the Weight and Nimbus Clouds are ones that I can see myself playing over and over again for weeks at at time. Also, the lead singer works on the pie truck that often stops in front of my office and seems very friendly.
On Friday night, I narrowly missed seeing them by a few minutes. They are playing on Tuesday but sadly, I think I am going to see Mean Jeans at Comet Ping Pong. I hope I have the chance to see them soon since from what I can tell they have the potential to be a local favorite.
